Why Web Standards?

Classical Webdesigns believes in responsible web design and is committed to using web standards in all its designs. We believe in making websites accessible to everybody regardless of the technology they are using.

Not only is it socially responsible to be inclusive, it is also a legal requirement in some countries. It also makes good business sense to ensure all customers can access your site: being accessible means more visitors and potentially more sales.

It is not just visitors with disabilities that need consideration, but also visitors limited by the technology they can use, such employees at companies that have disabled certain browser features such as JavaScript, Java and Flash. There are also alternative methods of surfing the internet, such as Web TV, palm-top computers and mobile phone devices that have limited features and limited screen-space.
